1. Стабильный комплекс между Т-нитью Ti-плазмиды из A. tumefaciens и белками, кодируемыми vir-областью генов E и D. Т-к. участвует в переносе Т-ДНК из Agrobacterium в растительные клетки. Возможно, что virE-белки защищают Т-нить от разрушения эндонуклеазами в процессе переноса, а virD-белки обеспечивают перенос Т-к. из бактерии в ядро клетки растения.
2. У мыши участок хромосомы 17, гены которого контролируют содержание антигенов на поверхности клеток, а также длину хвоста. Мутации в Т-к. могут обусловливать остановку развития на определенных стадиях эмбриогенеза.
